Testimonials

Fantastic service from start to finish. Always go above and beyond both with dealing with my injury and also in helping with the administration, dealing with troublesome health providers etc .I would thoroughly recommend.

Initially I started going to for Sports Massages after feeling pain during exercise. These sessions were really good! Then, after speaking with the lovely receptionist, she explained clinical pilates to me and I decided to join the class. I have been doing these classes for almost a year and they have given me a real insight into movement and my own body. Each week has a different focus and there is something new to learn.

Even though I have always stayed active, these classes are great to do alongside normal fitness routine as they draw attention to ways I may be moving incorrectly during regular exercise at the gym. It’s quite eye opening.

I have done classes with three clinical practitioners, all have their own style of instruction but all are extremely knowledgable, professional and down to earth. I have felt physically safe and supported in every session and really feel this place has a true sense of community and inclusion where they accommodate your personal needs. They take your physical health seriously but also make massive efforts to accommodate you with scheduling and so on. Would definitely recommend.

What can I expect at my appointments?

At your initial assessment, your physiotherapist will discuss your injury and how it is impacting you day to day. They will help identify the root cause of the problem and clearly explain both the diagnosis and the treatment options available to you. Where time allows, we will also begin treatment during this first appointment. This may include soft tissue massage, joint mobilisations, Shockwave Therapy and exercise rehab.
On average, most patients require a minimum of 3โ€“4 follow-up sessions to achieve optimal results. Follow-up appointments last either 30 or 45 minutes as we believe that dedicating sufficient time to your rehabilitation promotes a faster recovery. Each treatment session is tailored to you โ€“ we reassess your progress every week and adapt your treatment plan accordingly

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY

Evidence-based treatment for persistent pain and injury.

Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive, evidence-based treatment that uses acoustic waves to stimulate the bodyโ€™s natural healing response. It can be particularly useful for persistent or long-standing musculoskeletal conditions where pain has not responded to other treatments.

Is Shockwave Therapy right for you?
Shockwave can be suitable for a range of tendon, muscle and other persistent musculoskeletal conditions. Your physiotherapist will assess your symptoms and discuss whether shockwave is appropriate as part of your treatment.
Book an assessment with our team to find out whether Shockwave Therapy could help you.
